The grand prize is a Black Swan Journeys-sponsored trip for one to Anegundi!
Rules:
1) Send your photo, specify time, date and place. Also send in a brief description on why the photo fits the theme.
2) This contest runs on the strong hope of originality, so please make sure that what you have clicked is what you have sent.
3) We understand post-production allows you bonkers-levels of creative freedom, but it makes the playing ground unfair. So, please keep the tinkering to the basic light, contrast, colour and cropping adjustments.
4) Please do not watermark your images. We respect all creative work and will in no way use it to our benefit without first seeking the requisite permissions.
5) Judges will receive just the photos, and their description, but no personal details of the participants.
6) The maximum number of photos allowed per participant is 3.
7) Please be sensitive to religious, communal and spiritual sentiments while selecting your entries. The point is to bring forth our contradictions, and not insult or criticise any person, sect, group or collective.
8) There will be one category in the whole contest, and one winner.
9) Photos taken from mobile phones are acceptable, but will be judged on the same scale as the rest of the photos.
10) All photograph submissions must be 5 megabytes or smaller, must be in JPEG or JPG format, and must be at least 1,600 pixels wide (if a horizontal image) or 1,600 pixels tall (if a vertical image).
11) No entry fee is attached to the contest.
12) Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
13) We will display all photo entries on our Facebook page on the day the winners are announced. (https://www.facebook.com/FollowBlackSwan).
14) Participation in the contest allows Black-Swan to add participants to the database and we can reach out to them from time to time to share updates and newsletters.
